ExploreMore! is an avenue to connect people with nearby activities, provisions and treasures in an approximate 25-mile radius from our location at Hanford Mills Museum. It helps to provide resources for answering the often- asked question of what else is there to do nearby. Hanford Mills Museum’s staff believes that if visitors want to continue to play here, we have the responsibility to make some thoughtful recommendations for their next stops.
A Program for our Collaborators
We realize that all of our area businesses are asked similar questions, so we have attempted to provide a resource that everyone can easily use – whether they are a local resident or a nearby business or organization. When a customer or a visitor asks “What should I do today?” or “Where are some places can I go for lunch?” or “Where can I try local craft beverages? or “What are some good shopping locations?” – send them to ExploreMore.hanfordmills.org. If you are looking for ‘what’s nearby’, then this should be a helpful resource.
With business hours in flux starting in 2020, we also wanted to make sure to provide current hours of operations and any special considerations that someone visiting might need to know, so this information is included in each property detail page (using the ‘Read More’ link).
