This two-part workshop will begin with a guided forest walk in the Michael Kudish Natural History Preserve to forage for natural art materials and explore how to write creatively about awe in <a href="http://nature.

Returning to Headwaters, participants will use the natural materials gathered to create unique, hand-sewn accordion collage books. Birch bark, wildflower pigments, lichen and fungi will be woven into one-of-a-kind art objects. Rice paper, silk thread, botanical ink and writing materials will be provided.
